I’m not sure of the backstory of this picture. But this young woman doesn’t seem very pleased. It’s probably because what she expected to be a pleasant day at the beach turned into a lecture about the virtues of Tung-Sol tubes. The ad appeared in the September 1946 issue of Radio Retailing.
